I wrote this directory mainly because I feel the need to return as much as possible to the level of fellowship we used to have. Thirty years we used to look for an excuse to visit each other but it seems that for some reason it isn't as important any more. In my my mind when the author wrote Hebrews 10:24 & 25
Heb 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Heb 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
They knew what they were talking about so I wrote this website in the hopes that it would encourage us to reverse this trend and return to "the old ways". Ease of use was paramount so I wrote it as a web site so that any device with a web browser could access it, whether Android, Apple, Windows, Mac, or Linux. Also rather than releasing updates because of new info, when I updated the web site everyone was updated then (as long as they occasionally refreshed their cache memory in their browser). I have had many messages from users that have been doing just that. People who must travel for their job have found assemblies close by where they found themselves that night. Vacationers who use it to plan their itenerary. And those who just wanted to fellowship one of their sister assemblies.
Since there are many "trolls" out there who just LOVE to disrupt things, sometimes just for the fun of it, In order to be accepted into this group there are three questions that MUST be answered. Since I wouldn't want to include any person or entity who would reflect unfavorably on the name of the Lord or upon "Gospel Assembly", not answering these questions will result in your request to be rejected out of hand.
Question 1 Why do you wish to join this group.
Question 2 Are you currently, or have you ever been a member of a church affiliated with the "Gospel Assembly" group?
Question 3 If "yes", which one. If it isn't listed as part of what is currently listed would you be willing to provide the necessary information so that I may share it with others?
There are also certain rules.
